Lawrence “Larry” Finn is the founder of, and principal trial attorney at, The Finn Law Firm based in Chicago, Illinois, where he focuses on representing people who are severely injured or who have died due to defective drugs and medical devices, medical negligence and nursing home abuse and neglect. Larry had the benefit of spending the first half of his 35-year legal career representing drug and medical device companies, medical providers and medical facilities at a law firm dedicated to those areas.

His superior understanding of defective drugs and medical devices and other product liability matters has been recognized within the legal community through being elected as an officer of committees of multiple legal organizations, being requested to speak on related topics at professional association meetings, conferences, and workshops and in publishing various articles in, and serving as an editor on, multiple legal journals. Larry’s experience has also been recognized by corporations and relevant industries by virtue of being hired by them as National Trial and Coordinating Counsel for multiple mass-torts and class-actions, involving hundreds or thousands of cases filed alleging injury from exposure to various drugs, chemicals, infectious organisms, toxic substances and even electro-magnetic fields.

Larry has appeared in trial courts in over 20 states in these cases throughout his career, many of which involved various forms of consolidated proceedings, including through the Multi-District Litigation Panel and class actions. In 2003, Larry decided to take his knowledge and refocus it to help those who have been harmed by drug and medical device manufacturers and others engaged in medical malfeasance. The Finn Law Firm was the result of that decision.
